Learning a lot. I still can't figure how to make the things work yet.
Godot might be my plan on making a demo of OATVT. I also made a cool looking art for... okay that's irrelevant
eeerrGGGGG STUPID CODE. I can't read ANYTHING. It doesn't work, it doesn't wanna do what I TELL IT DO TO, and it's STUPIDDSUHNAHDFng. I. am. losing. hope.
Failure. It's over and that's alright!
1 day left. It took a long time but I made a randomizer, one trap and everything works. There are some flaws, like how you can't use uppercase, or how there isn't any score. I will implement score ASAP. EVIL janko made a playlist as he is testing the game, so if you want some updates that actually show the game, here you go. Until then, I'll show you the entirety of the thing on february 20th.
3 days left. I made a blog a month ago stating that OATVT will require: A randomizer, 50 rooms, at least one trap, maybe an enemy. I've already have the ability to make 50 rooms, so I might as well shorten it down to somewhere around 25 or 30. A randomizer however, I have not learned. Not learning that randomizer cannot give me the ability to make a trap and an enemy. It sucks but I should learn it very soon. Though with 3 days left, I will have to focus purely on it.
I find loops to be very useful, and might make the code much more readable, and much more rooms.
7 Days left.
Learned a lot. Might be able to make a really skimmed down version. Who knows, it might be finished before the deadline.
Learned if statements. I'm getting there...
Ugh...
10 days left. I will have to focus purely on C# and OATVT. I promise!
Might learn BASIC for the text based version. 12 days left.
Working with text based is strange. I might have to work with 2D first. Though I will try and see if text can be possible. With the fact that school is tomorrow, development and learning will be majorly slow.
C# is now my main from now on. OATVT can be somewhat done, but I can't be sure. I'll have to find out but it will be fast.
I am stuck upon choosing either C# or C++, as C++ is kinda complicated. I'll go for C# and see how easy it is. If it isn't as easy, then I'll just go for C++ (and pray).
Started learning C++.
Printed hello world.
